Was Anil offered to play Salman's role in Antim?

Anil Kapoor was approached for the role that Salman Khan is portraying in Aayush Sharma's ‘Antim’. Kapoor was considered during the initial stages of the film's planning but before something could materialise there was another announcement that Salman will be playing a guest appearance in the film.
