For the first time, the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne (IFFM) honoured a short film ‘Sheer Qorma’, directed by Faraz Arif Ansari with an Equality in Cinema award. The 12th edition of IFFM Awards Night 2021 was organised virtually and celebrated diversity in cinema- and it was not surprising to see Faraz’s film winning this special award.
