Has Mahesh Babu turned down 'Ramayan'?

Madhu Mantena, Nitesh Tiwari and Ravi Udyawar have collaborated for an epic saga ‘Ramayan’ and recent reports suggested that South superstar Mahesh Babu has been approached for the movie and that he has turned down the offer due to date issues. Reacting on the same, Madhu Mantena says, “It's really funny. The thing is that I've already said we will announce the casting by Diwali and Nitesh still needs to find his character because the characters are larger here.”
