Asha Bhosle spoke about how her sister, Lata Mangeshkar, inspired her to sing differently. The veteran singer said a music director had once called her thinking she had sung a song sung by her sister, which made her realized she needed to do something different to make a mark in the industry. She added she watched English films and musicals for inspiration.
