Elizabeth Jane Hurley was born on 10th June 1965 at Hampshire, UK. When Hurley was 12 years old she went to the boarding school in England to study about ballet. Then she won a scholarship to the dance and theatre college at London Studio Centre. At this moment of life a new passion of acting grabbed her. So in the year of 1987 she got her first opportunity in 'Aria'. She continued with roles in movies like 'Remando al Viento' in the same year which got released second time in 2000. She appeared in British TV with two Inspector Morse episodes in 1987 and 1988, the 'Christabel miniseries', 'Act of Will' in 1988 and 'Death Has A Bad Reputation' in 1990. Then came 'Der Skipper/Kill Cruise' in 1990, 'Orchid House' and 'El Largo Invierno' in 1991. She took her first step into Hollywood in the year 1992 with 'The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles' (of 2 episodes) and 'Passenger 57'. Roles began to pour in for Elizabeth and she continued her good work with roles in 'Beyond Bedlam', 'Nightscare' in 1993, 'Sharpe’s Enemy' in 1994 (TV), 'Shameless', 'Mad Dogs and Englishmen' in 1995, 'The World of 007' (TV), 'The Shamrock Conspiracy' (TV), 'Harrison: Cry of the City' (TV) in 1995, 'Samson and Delilah' (TV) in 1996 and 'Happy Birthday Elizabeth: A Celebration of Life' (TV) in 1997. 'International Man of Mystery' and its sequel 'The Spy Who Shagged Me' did wonders for her career. They were both huge hits and she gained huge stardom. Then came 'The Weight of Water' and 'Bedazzled'. Very few people know that she is also a success behind the camera with her production. She went on to produce the 'Grant vehicles Extreme Measures' in 1996 and 'Mickey Blue Eyes' in 1999 as development head. In 1994 when she was 29 years of age she also achieved a contract of the Estee Lauder spokes model. To her credit she was also named the IGN For Men magazine 'Babe of the Century'. She is a natural fighter. This was proved when she won a 1997 case against the tabloid which declared that she could be rented out to someone who bids the highest for her. As far her private life goes she has relations with her long-time fellow actor Hugh Grant even after his indulgence in a public scandal.
