Charlize Theron

Charlize Theron was born on 7 August 1975 at Benoni, South Africa. When she was only 6 years old she stared to dance. Right from her childhood she always wanted to become a professional dancer. But when she was 16 years old she changed her mind from dancing to modeling. But only one year after her modeling career her love and desire for dancing errupted again. It didn`t last long because she had a knee injury to contain. After that injury her only option to shine and make a name for herself was in Hollywood. Then in the year 1994 John Crosby a talent manager in a bank discovered Charlize. In 1996 her first movie `2 Days in the Valley` got released. She also acted in many horror movies later on. Her films include `That Thing You Do`, `Children of the Corn IV`, `The Gathering`, `Trial and Error` etc. Her recent films include `Sweet Home Alabama`, `Curse of the Jade Scorpion`, `Sweet November` in the year 2001 and `Wakin` Up In Reno` in the year 2000. It can be said that this is only the begining of a bright and prosperous career of a talented lady.

Carmen Electra

Carmen Electra was born on April 20, 1972 at Cincinnati, Ohio. Her real name is Tara Leigh Patrick. Carmen's talents were evident when she was a little girl. Only at the age of nine, she was selected for her School's Creative and Performing Arts. In school, Carmen started to take singing lessons and began practicing her vocal talents. She was performing in musicals as a dancer and doing her own choreographies by the time she was a teenager. Her ultimate passion was to eventually go to Los Angeles and sign a deal. Carmen was on her way to fulfill her dream at the age of only 15. To fulfill her dreams she moved to Minneapolis to stay with her sister and half sister. There she made her living by working as a clothes model for Target department stores. After four years she moved to L.A., changed her name to Carmen Electra. One week after that Carmen met musical talent, Prince. Prince liked the style and appearance of Carmen, so he signed her to a Paisley Park Records label deal in the year 1992. But despite all his efforts in helping Carmen by promoting her and her new album, her first album was a failure. The video 'Go-Go Dancer' was rarely seen on MTV and when the '12' single was released in June 1992; it didn't sell well at all. Three years later in the year 1995 Carmen reinvented herself by appearing on the Nickelodeon show entitled 'ALL THAT'. In March of 1996, Carmen's most important and electrifying move was her posing nude for Playboy. She also appeared in a Play boy video entitled 'Play boy Cheerleaders', in which she sings the show stopper ‘2-4-6-8' thus showing her musical talents. Also in the same year Carmen hosted MTV's Loveline. A couple of months later, on October 4, 1996, Lisa Berger who was MTV's senior vice president of original programming at that time announced that Carmen was selected for the MTV show 'Singled Out' replacing Jenny McCarthy and the deal was at least for 65 episodes. But unfortunately Carmen's popularity was not that of Jenny's and the show eventually failed. After that announcement was made there was more to come for Carmen. She was later signed on to replace Pamela Anderson on Baywatch as the Baywatch team could not ignore a sexy and beautiful woman like Carmen. Then she has appeared in a comic book, then as a national spokesperson for Budweiser beer and also appeared in the 2000 sleeper comedy hit of the year 'Scary Movie'. As far her personal life goes her relationship with Dennis Rodman has become a talking point for tabloids as well as the rest of the media. Carmen and Dennis Rodman eventually got married in the year 1997 and got separated only seven days later. Rodman claimed that he wasn't in a right state of mind at that time. Later the two was arrested for fighting in a hotel, but despite of all this rumors the two still remain together. Carmen is further linked to Tommy Lee, Cypress Hill's B-Real (separated) and Limp Bizkit's Fred Durst and Prince (musician). Carmen at presents resides in Los Angeles, and she is definitely working hard for her next venture.

Catherine Zeta Jones

Catherine Zeta Jones was born on September 25, 1969 at Swansea, Wales, U.K. to the couple of David (Welsh; runs a candy factory) and Pat (Irish; a seamstress). She has two brothers David (older) and Lyndon (younger). As a child Catherine Zeta Jones was a complete singer and dancer, and she toured with a local performing troupe. When she was 11 years old, she went on to play the title role in the local productions of 'Annie' and at 13 she continued with a lead role in 'Bugsy Malone'. Then Catherine was hired for a touring production of 'The Pajama Game', when she was 14 and then decided to move to London to pursue her career in acting. When only 16 years old she became a star and achieved fame after starring in that West End production of '42nd Street'. It’s just an unbelievable story, the unknown actress from Mumbles, Wales gets her big break and fully utilizes it. In the year of 1990 at the age of 21 Jones made her film debut in 'Les 1001 Nuits/Scheherazade' as she traveled from London to France. The following year she went on to appear in the role of the eldest daughter of the British television series, 'The Darling Buds of May'. Catherine also appeared in two more American productions, 'The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles' (TV in 1992), and 'Christopher Columbus: The Discovery' in 1992, and the British feature films 'Out of the Blue' in 1991 and 'Splitting Hairs' in 1993 during Darling Bud’s three year successful run. Jones then took to the London stage for an English National Opera production of Street Scenes and then left England to escape from the hands of the British tabloids. Although a huge star in the United Kingdom, Jones was still unknown in Hollywood. To come into everyone's notice she worked steadily throughout her first couple of years with 'The Return of the Native' (TV in 1994), 'The Cinder Path' in 1994, 'Catherine The Great'(TV mini-series in 1995), 'Blue Juice' in 1995, 'The Phantom in 1996, and 'Titanic' (TV drama in 1996). It was solely due to her great Titanic performance that encouraged producer Steven Spielberg convince the director of 'Mask of Zorro' to cast Jones as Zorro’s 'Elena'. For her outstanding performance in 'Mask of Zorro' this charming heroine earned the ShoWest award for Best Supporting Actress in 1999, and then led her to roles in films like 'The Haunting' and 'Entrapment' in the year 1999. Jones also achieved the 1999 'European People’s Choice Film Award' for Best Actress for her role in 'Entrapment'. Then her popularity reached sky high as she was named in 'People Magazine’s 10 Best-Dressed List' in September 1999. In 2000 she starred in films like 'Traffic', 'High Fidelity' and 'The Tenth Victim'. Jones then went on to receive the '2003 best supporting actress Oscar' and supporting actress of the year for 'ShoWest 2003' for her wonderful portrayal of murderess Velma Kelly in 'CHICAGO'. She also started her new production company 'Zeta'. As far her personal life goes Jones married her fiancé Michael Douglas on November 18, 2000 and has one son. Jones then turned down a starring role in 'Beyond Borders' at the time of her pregnancy. She was also rumored to have relations with 'Mick Hucknall' (musician), 'Jon Peters' (producer), 'Angus MacFadyen' (actor) and 'John Leslie'.

Cameron M. Diaz was born on August 30, 1972 at San Diego, California, USA. She got her education from the 'Long Beach Polytechnic High School' in Long Beach, California. When Cameron was 16 years old she met a photographer at a party. This incident totally changed her life. Some weeks later she got out of her San Diego school to accept a wonderful international career with the 'Elite Modeling Agency'. At the age of 22 Cameron decided to enter Hollywood. As she expressed her desire she won a small part in the big-budget flick 'The Mask' in the year of 1994. Her performance was enough to take notice. Then she was offered 'Mortal Combat' but could not fulfill due to injury. Then she went on to attend a few acting lessons and later appeared in 'The Last Supper', 'Feeling Minnesota' and 'She’s The One' in the year of 1996. Her performance was speaking for her and roles poured in for Cameron. She became darling of the masses suddenly. Cameron opted for interesting roles in 'My Best Friend’s Wedding' for which she achieved a 'Blockbuster Entertainment Favorite Supporting Actress award in 1997, 'A Life Less Ordinary', 'Head Above Water', 'Keys to Tulsa' in 1997, 'There’s Something About Mary', 'Very Bad Things', 'Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas' in 1998, 'Any Given Sunday' in 1999 and 'Being John Malkovich' for which she got a 'Golden Globe nomination' and 'Screen Actors’ Guild award nomination' in 1999. Then she gave her voice in 'Shrek' and appeared in 'Invisible Circus', 'Things You Can Tell Just By Looking At Her' and 'Charlie’s Angels'. 'Charlie’s Angels' became a blockbuster hit. She is known to choose her films carefully alternating films with artistic independents with public-pleasing mainstream movies. She has found her place in Hollywood and everyone can be assured that she will face no problems in maintaining it.
