Sutapa: Babil was depressed after Irrfan's death

Sutapa Sikdar has spoken about her sons' struggles after the death of their father, Irrfan Khan. Irrfan was diagnosed with neuroendocrine cancer in March 2018 and died on April 29 2020. Sutapa says that both her sons, Babil and Ayaan, were diagnosed with anxiety and depression after the passing of their beloved father. Sutapa tried her best not to make her sons feel their father's absence too much. On the occasion of Irrfan's birth anniversary on January 7, Sutapa also spoke to Bollywood Bubble about how the late actor was a great friend more than a father to their sons. She said that unlike any other father figure she has encountered in her life, Sutapa said that she has never seen a father like Irrfan.
